As said before, the amount of memory and registers used by MusicTEX makes it hardly compatible with LATEX. However, Nicolas BROUARD succeeded in building a normalshapemediumseriesmusictex.sty which is now included in the distribution. This is not recommended to make separate music scores. Its purpose is rather to provide a means of inserting short musical excerpts in books or articles written with LATEX. Then, the normalshapemediumseriesnormalshapemediumseries\documentstyle command should include normalshapemediumseriesmusictex in the options.

user wanting to use accidental
transposition facilities, he should invoke normalshapemediumseriesmusictrp in the
options of the
